FAQ

A few things people usually ask.

Answers to the most common questions before you reach out.

Do you accept my insurance?

I accept Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Optum, Aetna, HealthChoice, Kempton Group, and AllOne EAP. If your plan isn't listed, reach out and I can help you figure out your options, including out-of-network benefits.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Both telehealth and in-person sessions are available at my Edmond, OK office, and you're welcome to switch between the two depending on what works for a given week.

What does EMDR actually involve?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they carry less charge. It doesn't require recounting every detail of what happened, and we move at a pace that respects what your system can tolerate.

Do you work with couples, or just individuals?

Both. Couples work focuses on understanding the cycle behind repeated conflict, not just surface-level communication fixes.

Is faith part of every session?

Only if you want it to be. Christian counseling is available and integrated in a way that's specific to your own relationship with faith, but it's never assumed or required — plenty of my work is entirely secular.

Are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes. Reach out through the appointment request or contact form on the Contact page, and I typically respond within one to two business days.

Still have a question?

Reach out directly and I'll get back to you within one to two business days.
